Remodel PDF
At the start of a summer, four women get together to help remodel one of their homes. Each woman is near forty years old, and each has gone through a major change in their life recently. The friends are there for one another. Through flashbacks and scenes from that summer, we see the momentous changes happen, and how the women adapt and build something new. Think Fried Green Tomatoes, The Joy Luck Club or Steel Magnolias (2012).
Live action role play. In the American Freeform tradition, inspired by Nordic Jeepform. Diverse characters. Queer and trans friendly.
For 4 players. 3-4 hours.
For mature players: Serious content including abusive relationships, adoption, and loss.

System Example: The House -- When choosing a place to play, find a room where you can have space to set up half the area to represent the house (shown on map on page 18). Use chairs, tables and small objects to represent walls, furniture, etc. Or use blue painter's tape on the floor to mark boundaries of the rooms. Play scenes that take place in the House here.
As play goes on and house is remodeled, walls will be removed, furniture re-arranged. Make changes to props or tape. Draw in changes on floor plan map. Final scene is women celebrating in remodeled home.
